Not all wildlife removal companies are the same. Some have experience with bat removal projects, and are familiar with the proper methods for
bat exclusion. But others use incorrect techniques, such as bat traps, summer exclusions, or worse, fumigants. Do your research before you hire someone! I personally recommend our field technician for bat control in Oklahoma City.
We service the Oklahoma City region, including the towns of Piedmont, Edmond, Th Village, Yukon, Bethany, Choctaw, Midwest City, Del City, Moore, Mustang, Norman, Newcastle, and more. We are a full service company we take care of Pest Control, Termite Control and Animal Removal. We service the Oklahoma City Metro area and westward to Weatherford, North to Enid, and South to Chickasha.
Before you hire anyone, including our tech at 405-708-7080, talk to them, and make sure that they understand what they are doing, and that they have experience. Be sure that they do abide by the principles I outlined above. This is not just for the sake of the bats - I'm no tree hugger - it's for the sake of doing the job correctly, for you and your property. The fact that it's good for the bats as well is a lucky coincidence. And really, bats are good animals, which I'm sure you realize. I hope you have a good experience with your Oklahoma City bat control project. You can email me personally if you have any problems with our tech, and I will talk to him, but I doubt that will be necessary. Good luck!

Hi - Thanks for your very informative website. I live on the western slope of Oklahoma City and just figured out I have a bat problem (I suspected airborne mice previously...actually had no idea until my son said bat guano looks like mouse poop). I will probably call the professional in Tulsa OK but also am going to use my night vision scope to see if maybe it's a single or limited entry point. Once the bats leave at night can the entry be sealed? If a 1 way device is required is that available to the lay person? and finally, it get's really cold in Oklahoma. what do bats do in the winter? is there a maternity/hibernation window of opportunity? (I know you didn't really invite these kinds of questions.. but just giving it a shot... thanks)
My response: You can't just seal at night, because they don't all leave at the same time. Hibernation or migration depends on whether the attic has enough winter heat to survive.
I have a stone fireplace with a wood stove insert. I live in Oklahoma City. My dog found the bat just before dark yesterday, I have only seen one but I'm sure there are probably more. Do you know of someone near me. I didn't see anyone close on your list. I am on a tight budget, can you tell me a ballpark as to what I am looking at. Is it too early in the season now to do anything? I am on soc sec disability. So I can't afford much? I Don't know what to do. Can you help me please?
